A very effective kind of signage is the box-type. Each letter is cut normally in a flat acrylic format, but this time an acrylic side (shading) will be bonded around the letter, creating thus a 3-D effect. The main positive feature in the Box-type method is that it can also be used on logos and not just on letters.
