Skyline Plastic Works, Manufacture - Engraving, Combinations with Engraving

With some fantasy and imagination, we managed to combine together a number of our products to create original and innovative items. Engraving can be easily combined with a lot of different products and items with splendid results.

One of the most effective combinations was between Light and Engravings on Clear Transparent Acrylic. When a lit Neon tube or an LED is placed touching the polished side of a clear transparent acrylic, the light will travel through the acrylic and once it reaches engraved lines, they will shine as if they were lit. The effect is marvellous and very difficult to obtain by other means other this combination.

Naturally, the engraving can be anything from Letters, to Lines and Logos. It is important that the engraved lines will not be filled by any paint as the shinning effect will not occur. The normal engraving has the disadvantage that the sign will not be effective in daylight. This problem can be solved by the use of 3-D Engraving where the engraving is thick and angled to catch easily even the daylight thus being also effective during the day. Obviously, both methods of engraving are very effective during the night or in a dark ambience. This combination is also very impressive when used with the Relief 3-D Engraving.
