Steel is a commercial iron that is distinguished from cast iron by its malleability and lower carbon content. It is called Stainless because it is made up of materials that are resistant to stains, especially rust, thus guaranteeing steel free from any stains. Steel is another very durable, hard wearing and aesthetically pleasing material. It enhances the surrounding appearance and gives it a modern, serious and classy look.

Although Stainless Steel is a recent addition to the list of possible engraving facia, its advantages makes it a popular selection with our customers. At Skyline Plastic Works we give you the opportunity to have your signs, logo and letters engraved on this incredible metal.

We have two types of Stainless Steel finishing - Polished and Brushed, Polished having a shinny and reflecting property whilst the Brushed have a matt non shinny finish. All our Stainless Steel are 1.2mm thick. As in all our engravings, and although Steel is very hard to work, we can still engrave any font type or lettering style and any logo or design you like. Basically anything you want.

Once ready, you can fill the engraved space with any colour you desire or any combination of colour shades you need. Nothing is impossible as long as you ask us.

We can also provide you with an acrylic or wooden backing to finish off your sign. The Stainless Steel facia can also be fixed with its backing or the wall by means of very elegant Cup-Screws. The head of these self-tapping screws will be covered by a steel cup for a very deluxe finish.

But no matter how you order your sign, we always guarantee to give you any maintenance you will require with your Stainless Steel signs, example re-polishing the surface or re-painting the infill, etc.
